 #1: Building a Mission-driven Brand Marketing & Fundraising Plan

Conceptual case study – Spring 2022 (Fordham University)

Role: Researcher & Conceptual Designer

Problem: Essential workers were disproportionately affected during the COVID-19 pandemic and often lacked recognition, policy support, and professional community networks

 

Solution: 

Developed a prototype platform designed to support essential workers by:

  • Connecting colleagues across industries (retail, healthcare, trades, childcare, etc.)

  • Sharing policy updates and industry news

  • Offering motivational content and daily encouragement ​

My Contribution:

  • Conducted industry research and identified major gaps in worker support

  • Designed a prototype app using Figma to visualize the proposed solution

  • Collaborated with peers to refine the brand marketing and fundraising approach

Reflections:

  • Delivered a conceptual project that combined research, strategy, and design

  • Learned how to translate insights into actionable digital solutions

  • Strengthened skills in industry analysis and prototype designing for mission-driven initiatives

Conceptual App Design

​​#2: VOTIN24: A Civic Engagement Pre-registration Campaign for Youth Voters

Conceptual Multimedia Campaign - Fall 2021 (Fordham University)
 

Role: Research Lead​

 

Agenda:

  • Increasing youth participation in politics

  • Encouraging pre-registration among 16-17-year olds in battleground states with laws allowing early registration (Florida and North Carolina)​

My Contribution:​​

  • Conducted research to identify key insights that guided campaign content and social media creatives 

  • Analyzed data from articles and reports to observe patterns in youth voting behavior

  • Identified election trends to aid social media campaign strategy and messaging 

Campaign Concept: Festival + membership box + brand partnerships + social-first creative rollout

Reflection:

  • Delivered a conceptual campaign package aimed at increasing voter turnout, back by real-world data and a social-first strategy

  • Gained experience in applying research and trend analysis to campaign design 

  • Learned how to frame mission-driven strategies for real-world scenarios like U.S. elections
